Delivered in 1994 by the Knight & Carver yard in San Diego, WANDERLUST is one of only two Mikelson 72s built in the U.S. by Knight & Carver. Since her launch, this long-range sportfish motor yacht has been kept in prime condition. She is fully stabilized, ensuring each voyage is comfortable. WANDERLUST showcases a retro interior styling that is both comfortable and charming. Â
The sportfisher’s main salon is spacious, with natural light from the surrounding windows. The salon can be accessed by the sliding door from the aft deck. WANDERLUST’s interior styling is welcoming, with plenty of space for guests to unwind after a day on the water. The large, U-shaped dinette can sit up to eight people to enjoy meals together. The area is situated at window level for excellent visibility. The yacht’s enormous galley features a full-size refrigerator, extra-large double stainless steel sinks, a full-size electric cooking range and so much more.Â
WANDERLUST can host up to nine guests in three well-appointed staterooms. The owner’s cabin is located amid-ship and can be accessed by a separate stairwell from the salon. The cabin features a walkaround king-size bed and ample storage space. The adjoining bathroom has double sinks and an extra-large stall shower. The yacht’s two additional guest cabins showcase the same warm, welcoming atmosphere as the master. The port cabin is fitted with a walkaround double berth, counter space drawers and many hanging locker spaces. To starboard is a guest cabin with full-size upper and lower twin berths and plenty of drawer and locker space. Both cabins are adjoined with their own bathrooms. WANDERLUST also features a captain’s cabin with an optional second berth.Â
The sportfish yacht’s exterior is sleek with modern lines. She showcases Tom Fexas design and styling. The enclosed flybridge with a hardtop is a great place for guests to gather around the dining table for alfresco dining and to socialize. The space also features a sink and a refrigerator. WANDERLUST’s aft deck has a control station and a day head on the starboard side. The sportfisher’s cockpit is spacious, with plenty of room to move around. Guests can watch the action from the aft deck or the bridge. WANDERLUST’s foredeck has room for a 16’ tender and WaveRunner.Â
